Flamingo Lakes RV Resort just 10 short miles from down town Jacksonville, FL is a work in progress. The new premium waterfront sites have 85 foot slabs with dual hook-ups so a trailer can back in and motor homes can drive in allowing all to have great views of the lake. They also have their own lakefront patios. There is a restaurant on the lake and their specialty is a great breakfast menu at very reasonable prices. The Resort is expensive and worth it. The airport is about 4 miles away but the Resort is not in any flight paths. A new super mall is another 4 miles away and there are 2 super Walmarts within another 4 miles.
If you're going to be in the area for a few days we highly recommend you spend it here in a well managed RV Resort catering to your comfort and entertainment.
