I've read somewhere that having 2-6 volt batteries installed in a TT is better than a single 12 volt. Has anyone done this, and what do you think about it??

I rememberd an episode of RV Roadtrips where they did this. The host said that using 2 6's in place of one twelve provides more than 3 times the amps. He said this is an advantage if you do a lot of dry camping because it will give you much longer battery life. He simply replaced the single battery box with a dual with 6's. You need to connect the positive terminal on one battery to the negative terminal on the other and then connect the trailer cables to the other two terminals(pos to pos/neg to neg). Sounded simple enough and the benefits are definitely there if you are a dry camper.

6v batteries is just a big 12v battery now, so you should have it hooked to the camper the same way you had it before.
