I have a winnebago minnie class c 2004 model. I love everything about it except the noise from the generator. It is basically under the master bed which makes it almost impossible to sleep with the generator running. Any suggestions about reducing the noise level?
Only time I think you need a generator or to plug in is when temp. gets 90 plus. I do not know your RV life style :), so you can possibly replacing the generator with a quieter model, maybe a Honda model.
I was read in one generator problem site. "Boondocking in the desert at Quartzsite we saw many RVers with portable generators set down in a wash (below grade) away from the camp site. This significantly reduced the noise level."
Keep your generator behind a wall, or build a Thicker wall around a generator because that blocks more noise. The walls has to be tall enough to hide the generator.
